Vehicle speeds through the village. A meeting had been held with the Highways team. Their view was that there was insufficient traffic to make a chicane a viable solution, and that speed bumps would create substantial noise, and were not preferred solutions. They suggested applying for a 20mph limit, however pointed out that we were unable to impose a 30mph limit so felt that a 20mph limit would not be effective. The Police had been contacted and they had promised to take appropriate action over the matter. |
