1.

Matters Arising

a)

Website.  No progress this month.

Clerk

b)

Drain outside Crow Hall Farm.  Legal work is ongoing to enable maintenance of the pump by Highways.

Clerk

c)

Bridge at Gooderstone Road. The Chair gave an update on this issue.  The Bridge will have a 7.5 tonne weight limit imposed on it, during the next 2 months or so.  The Bridge is unsafe for heavier vehicles, and the cost of replacing it is prohibitive within current budgets.  The Bridge will be upgraded in due course when budgets permit; this may take up to 10 years.  The Parish Council has withdrawn it objection to the imposition of the new weight limit.

Highways will be liaising with the Parish Council in tackling the improvements required to The Street to help it cope with the increased volume of heavy traffic.

The issue of making Clarkes Lane one-way was deferred until experience showed if there was a problem with heavy vehicles meeting along it
