Settlement Boundary.  An update is awaited from Breckland District Council.

No incidents had been reported since the last meeting .

Planning

a)

The Swan Public House - Application approved.  No feedback had been received from the Council as to the reasons for the application being granted.

Cheques for Authorisation

a)

School - Hall Hire.

Norse Commercial Services.

c)

Gooderstone Play Equipment Group.

d)

County Grounds Maintenance.

All cheques were approved and authorised, Clerk to distribute.

Any Other Business

a)

Annual Accounts.  It was proposed by Cllr Scotney and seconded by Cllr Melhuish that these be signed by the Chair.

b)

Annual Governance Statement.  It was proposed by Cllr Lovegrove and seconded by Cllr Boughen that this be signed by the Chair.

c)

Following the two items above the Clerk to arrange for the submission of the Accounts for 2008/9 to the external auditors.

It was reported that the street sign for Chalk Row Road, at the Oxborough end, was missing.  Clerk to investigate.

Breckland District Council Planning.  A circular detailing an open day to review the new arrangements was in the circulation pack – any councillors wishing to attend should make their own arrangements.

It was reported that the road sign at the end of Foulden Road had been turned round and now indicated the wrong directions.  Clerk to investigate.

It was reported that a lion had been seen in the village.  Any further sightings to be reported to Councillors.
