Local Development Framework

A plan of the sites submitted for the Parish has been circulated to the Councillors.  A copy was displayed on the wall.  They are classified into three types of site:

Conforming – those that are consistent with the LDF Core Strategy

Non-Conforming – those which are in potential locations for growth if the Strategy were amended

Unreasonable – those sites that cannot sustainably deliver the strategy.

As part of this process it had been noted that the current boundary line had some anomalies in terms of areas included and excluded within it.  The Clerk to establish a process to enable a review of the boundary to be undertaken.

It was noted that the proposed Bartlett’s development was outside the current boundary, and that it was being treated as a Brownfield Site development

6.

Boundary Commission

Whilst there had been invitations to attend consultation meetings on this topic, anecdotally they had been unhelpful.  The Parish Council maintained its view that the present arrangements were preferable to the proposed one.  On that basis a draft letter was read out by the Chairman and unanimously approved by the Council to be sent as a formal representation of their views.

The letter to be sent to the appropriate official.

Clerk

7.

The Clerk confirmed that the new contract had been signed

b)
