Insurance renewal – Renewal with current suppliers proposed by M Adcock, seconded by all.

NCAPT – all in favour of continuing membership.

C Fraser MP – Letter read advising of his campaign for 20mph speed limit past rural schools and the petition he proposes to present to parliament. He asked is Gooderstone would like to support the matter and have his petition signed by the village residents.  Those wishing signed the petition at the end of the meeting and the clerk was asked to see if the school would ask parents to also sign.

NHS Norfolk – walk in centre in Norfolk instead of surgeries.  Chair authorised to reply on behalf of the Parish Council.

GPEG – Letter received asking if the Parish Council would erect signs prohibiting unauthorised vehicles from driving on the playing field.  Parents are driving on rather than parking in Elm Place.  All in favour and clerk to obtain quotes.

NCAPT – AGM and presentations – details read out and Parish Councillors requested to let clerk know if they wished to attend or nominate for NCAPT representation.

Donation request from Gooderstone Cricket Club - £100 proposed by Mrs Sutterby, seconded by Mrs Smith and passed on a majority vote.

 

 

j)

Local Government review re boundary committee – see b above.

Street Lighting Maintenance – The clerk advised that he had applied for three quotes but had to date only received a quote from the existing supplier.  He requested that the matter be carried forward to the next meeting and all were in favour of this.

a)

Plot adj to the forge. Had been approved by Parish Council and approval from Breckland had now been received.

 

 

b)

The Bungalow – Had been approved by Parish Council and approval from Breckland had now been received.

 

 

c)

Crow Hall - Had been approved by Parish Council and approval from Breckland had now been received.

 

 

d)

Site adjacent to pig units - Approved by Parish Council and passed to Breckland.
